Volunteer event at the Oregon Food Bank
Eleven Dartmouth alums and family members met on October 11th at the Oregon Food Bank. Over the course of two hours, we helped label, repack, and prepare for distribution to local branches over 6000 units of hamburger patties. That comes out to about 151 meals per volunteer. All together, that means that the DCO packed over 1660 meals! It feels good to do good!
The event was organized by Melaura Wittemyer ‘92. Keep an eye out for our next volunteer opportunity!
